Why look at your statstics one match at a time? The Match Filter lets you see the data for all your matches, or a filtered group? Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I get the statistics for a match that is still in progress?

A: Yes. At any point during a match you can get all the statistics for that match up to the current point. Once the match is over, and you save the match, you will then be able to include the match when using the Match Filter into groups of matches for detailed analysis.

Q: What do I do if I am unable to chart an entire match?

A: Tennis Charter was specifically designed to allow the person charting the match to have the ability to chart as many points, or as few points, as they wish.

Q: If I am not charting all the points for the matches I am watching, will the statistical results be inaccurate?

A: No, the accuracy of the statistics will never be effected by the number of points you chart. Tennis Charter was designed to allow the user to chart as many points, or as few points, as they wanted. The more points you chart, the better your results will be. For example, if you chart only 2 points where the player comes to net, then the "Percent of Net Approach Points Won" statistic will not be as representative as if you charted 15 points where the player comes to net.

Q: How many saved matches can Tennis Charter store?

A: Tennis Charter has no limit on the number of matches that you can save. The only limit is on the available memory of your device, which can vary.

Q: What statistics does Tennis Charter provide?

A: Tennis Charter provides 190 different statistics! For a full list of these statistic, please click here.

Q: What is a "Palm compatible" device?

A: A Palm, is a PDA that is manufactured by Palm Inc. There are many other manufactures out there that sell their own hardware, and run the Palm Operating System. These companies, like Handspring and Sony, produce Palm compatible devices such as the Visor, Treo, and Clie. Tennis Charter for the Palm will work on any Palm or Palm Compatible device.
